Dozens stopped dead in their tracks on the Las Vegas strip Monday as a helicopter carried a five-person hot tub hundreds of feet in the air.
“It was spectacular, actually,” said Theresa Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico. “It was loud.”
The chopper delivered the custom Italian tub to the new Nobu Penthouse at Caesars Palace.
The Jacuzzi is so large it couldn’t fit in the elevator. Delivering it by chopper was the easiest way to get it 13 stories up to the rooftop suite.
“I’ve never seen that before,” said Michael Hayashi of Seattle.
The hot tub is the final piece of the new 10,000 square foot Nobu suite that’s complete with a personal sushi bar, gym and art gallery.
“Only in Las Vegas,” Hayashi said.
